See the beauty of the flowers. Remember that the same beauty is in you. Let the rain nourish you as it nourishes the flowers, the trees, the land, the animals, rivers and oceans. Let the rain wash everything off you that you don´t need any more.
Man muß sorgsam damit umgehen.
Do you know the feeling of being disconnected from the land? Even in a beautiful landscape there can be various reasons for feeling disconnected. One of those reasons are the changes humans have made in the land. Signs of destruction, cut down forests, roads and traffic, tamed waters forced to flow straight. Some people are living in the countryside without even growing at least some of their food on their land.
Everything needs to be under control, it seems, nature as well as people. Tamed rivers and forests are just as boring as the modern human way of life. Where there once was a large moor in the valley, now there is a golf resort. You´re not supposed to take a walk on their lawn, unless you pay to play. And you´re not supposed to step onto the little moor area that is left, because it is so threatened in today´s Europe that it was declared a Nature reserve. Instead of exploring wildlife, you can go and play golf now.
It´s hard to deal with those signs of disconnection around you without getting affected. There is a deep sorrow coming up, a longing for healing. It´s the longing for re-connection with spirit, to revive the communication with all of creation, to restore our relations to the spirits of water, to the spirits of trees, to the spirits of earth. Singing intuitively is a way to reconnect with spirit, with your own heart and soul and the spirits of nature.
Who are the plant helpers? Do you seek their help? Do you even help them in return or express your gratitude?
My way of thanking the plants is often by singing or talking to them, by telling them how beautiful they are, by smiling and taking a deep breath of astonishment and enthusiasm, by gently touching the leaves of a flower or a tree....and many more ways.
Plants are our main source of food and also our best medicine, they take good care of us - let´s take good care of them, too.
Lately I had a busy time with lots of speculations and discussions and so on. My mind was overloaded by thoughts. Nevertheless, I managed to take some pictures and to record a song. Read the description from the video here:
Do you know this feeling, when your mind is filled up with issues, people, words, to-do´s and so on...? And you can´t escape, the thoughts are coming and are haunting you.
My head was filled with all these things, when I went outside in hope for some relief. Being in a state of disconnectedness, I actually didn´t feel like singing at all. I didn´t want to feel myself, just get away from it all.
Anyways, I came to a point when I said to myself: this can´t be it, look around you, all the beauty is right here, try to connect with it. And so I started singing, slowly from one tone to another. The plant helpers supported me through their calmness, patience and beauty. They are always there to help.
