Whose is this forest?

Walking in the woods, I sometimes find myself reflecting about some personal, local or global issues. Usually there is some kind of feeling connected with this, a feeling that surrounds me while walking.

Then it happens quite often that words are coming to my mind, and with these words there comes a melody. In this case the words were "Whose is this forest" and a song developed from there.

Whose is this forest?

Is it mine or is it yours?

Who possesses the forest, the land? Who has the right to live there? So many people were driven out of their homeground, their land was taken from them. So many animals have lost their natural surroundings due to our "civilised" way of living.

I recorded this song while walking in the woods (as you will hear by my voice). The song developed intuively in the moment.
